The VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing is a technical level qualification that provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work as an employed and/or self-employed hairdresser able to work on hair combining a variety of different technical skills. This qualification is ideal for those who hold a hairdressing or barbering qualification and work in a salon. This qualification covers specific skills necessary to become a senior stylist and develops more detailed and enhanced technical skills necessary for employment. Your skills and techniques will be assessed in a real working environment.
Creatively style and dress hair (M)
Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques (M)

Fulfil salon reception duties (O)
Develop, enhance and evaluate your creative hairdressing skills (O)

Thrive’s Standard Course is a 22-24 week program covering 531 Guided Learning Hours throughout the duration of the course.
Full-Time In Attendance Learning (short course). All modules are covered within a Salon environment.
Locations vary, but previously based in Manchester, Bradford and Walsall.
